Most car rankings you'll find come from one driver, one session, or the numbers in the game's files. Raycin tests cars by actually driving them, on our own server, the same way every time:

• Dedicated Test Tracks. Every car runs the same routes, kept only for testing and never used for normal races, so nothing changes between one car and the next.
• Only clean, fair laps count. A dry track, an undamaged car, no respawns, no skipped checkpoints and no driving assists. Every lap is checked against the real route before it's accepted.
• Like for like. Stock cars are compared with stock cars, fully upgraded with fully upgraded.
• Consistent drivers. Official tests are driven by Raycin's own testers, so a car is judged on the car, not on who happened to drive it. The Everyone board shows what all our players achieve.
• Top speed on a flat straight. Every lap includes the same long, flat straight, and the highest speed each car reaches along it is its top speed. Every car comes out of the same corner with the same run-up, so no separate top-speed run is needed, and braking for the corner at the end doesn't change the result.
• The whole picture. Lap times sit next to top speeds from the same laps, so you see how fast a car is in a straight line and how quickly it gets round a lap, and you can replay any two cars' laps against each other.

We believe this gives a fairer, more complete view of how cars really compare, and it keeps growing with every lap our community drives.
