GTA 6 Pre-Orders Are Live in the UK – and We Grabbed the Ultimate Edition

It’s happening. As of today, GTA 6 pre-orders have gone live in the UK — and we didn’t sit on our hands. The Raycin Ultimate Edition is locked in. If you’re thinking about doing the same, here’s the no-nonsense rundown: the dates, the editions, the pre-order bonus you won’t want to miss, and — the bit nobody else will tell you — what it all means for FiveM racing.

The key dates

  • Pre-orders: rolling out from midnight local time on 25 June 2026. The UK window is open now.
  • Release date: 19 November 2026.
  • Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch. There’s still no PC date — and that matters more than you’d think (more on that below).

The two editions

Rockstar is offering two versions of Grand Theft Auto VI:

  • Standard Edition — the full game. Priced at £69.99 here in the UK.
  • Ultimate Edition — the game plus an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons and apparel threaded through Jason and Lucia’s story. £89.99 here in the UK. This is the one we went for.

Yep, we actually did it. Our Ultimate Edition is locked in at £89.99 — pre-ordered through the Microsoft / Xbox Store, with an availability date of 19 November 2026.

Funny one: we didn’t get the order through until about eight minutes past midnight — technically the 25th — yet the receipt cheerfully reads “Date purchased: 24 June 2026.” Either Rockstar bent time, or Microsoft’s clock was as eager as we were. We’ll take it! 😂

Our Ultimate Edition pre-order — note the cheeky “24 June” date, even though it actually went through just after midnight on the 25th. 😂

Don’t miss the pre-order bonus

Here’s the one to act on: pre-order or buy before 20 November and you’ll also get the Vintage Vice City Pack — a set of throwback items celebrating Vice City at its neon-soaked best. Standard or Ultimate, getting your order in before launch locks it in.

Where to pre-order (UK)

Grab it wherever you normally buy your games — just make sure it’s the right platform for you:

  • The PlayStation Store or Xbox Store directly (digital, ready to pre-load).
  • The official Rockstar Store.
  • Major UK retailers like Amazon, Currys and GAME for boxed copies.

Always double-check you’re buying the PS5 / Xbox Series version (not last-gen), and confirm the edition before you hit confirm.

Standard or Ultimate — which should you get?

Quick steer: if you’re all-in and want the extra vehicles, weapons and apparel woven into the campaign, Ultimate is the pick (it’s what we grabbed). If you just want the game and aren’t fussed about the extras, Standard does the job. Either way, the smart move is the same — order before 20 November so the Vintage Vice City Pack is yours.

What GTA 6 means for Raycin & FiveM racing

Here’s our angle as a racing community. GTA 6 launches on console first, and there’s no PC release date yet. That’s the key detail for us, because FiveM runs on the PC version. Going by how GTA 5 rolled out, a PC release — and the FiveM modding tools that follow it — is likely to arrive later down the line.

So GTA 6 racing on FiveM is a when, not if — and when it lands, Raycin will be ready. Our random races, transform races, vanilla racing, leaderboards and the full vehicle database are built to roll straight into GTA VI. Want the full picture, including the live countdown? It’s all on our GTA 6 racing page.

In the meantime, there’s a whole GTA 5 racing community to get stuck into right now. Come join us on Discord, dig into the vehicle database, and get race-ready before launch day.

Pre-ordered yours? Tell us which edition you grabbed over in our Discord — we’ll see you on the grid.
